Legacy Custom Cushions Warranty Policy

At Legacy Custom Cushions, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our products. Our warranty policy is designed to protect your purchase and provide peace of mind. Please review the following terms carefully.

Finished Products Warranty

Legacy Custom Cushions offers a one-year limited warranty on all finished products from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.

This warranty does not cover:

- Fading of fabrics

- Damage caused by ammonia, harsh or abrasive cleaners, pool chlorine, suntan oils, or lotions

- Mold, mildew, or lack of proper care and maintenance

- Accidental damage (including fire, wind, or other acts of nature)

- Hard water deposits or calcium buildup

- Normal wear and tear, including fading, fabric pilling, stretching, or cushion compression from regular use

Legacy Custom Cushions reserves the right to repair or replace a product at our discretion, depending on the nature of the claim. If the original product or material is no longer available, we may substitute a similar item. Please note that color, texture, or pattern variations may occur.

Fabric Warranties

Fabric warranties are provided by the original fabric manufacturers and are as follows:

- Outdura®: 5-year limited warranty from the date of the original purchase.

- Sunbrella®:

- 5-Year Limited Warranty for upholstery, decorative shade, and specialty fabrics

- 10-Year Limited Warranty for shade and marine fabrics

Fabric warranties cover significant fading, loss of strength, or mildew (only when it occurs despite proper cleaning and care) under normal use. They do not cover damage from abuse, improper cleaning, or chemical exposure.

Customer-Provided Material Orders

Orders made using customer-supplied fabrics or specifications fall outside of our standard warranty. Legacy Custom Cushions is not responsible for the durability or performance of customer-provided materials and assumes no liability for defects or dissatisfaction related to such materials.

Commercial Use Disclaimer

Unless explicitly stated in writing, all Legacy Custom Cushions products are warranted for residential use only. Items used in commercial, hospitality, or high-traffic environments are not covered under this warranty.

Voiding the Warranty

The warranty is considered void if:

- The product has been altered or repaired by the customer or a third party

- It has been improperly stored or cleaned in a way inconsistent with our care instructions

- The product has been misused or abused beyond normal residential expectations

How to File a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim:

1. Contact Us.

2. Provide proof of purchase and clear photos of the product and issue.

3. Claims without sufficient documentation may not be processed.

All warranty claims must be submitted within the warranty period from the original purchase date.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. Legacy Custom Cushions shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of our products.
